Resurgo Wins ERSA Youth Employment Award

We are really pleased to announce that last night Resurgo won the ERSA Youth Employment Award for our work through our flagship initiative, Spear.

The award was presented to Jo Rice, Resurgo’s Managing Director, and Emily Armitstead, Resurgo’s Director of Business Engagement. Priti Patel MP, Minister for Employment, was present and said that she is keen to work with the employment sector to continue to deliver great results and to empower people.

The ERSA Employability Awards seek to celebrate people and organisations working across the employment support sector to help jobseekers in their journey towards employment, including specialist employment support organisations, personal advisors, employers and jobseekers themselves.

The Youth Employment Award recognises employment services providers who have demonstrated exceptional commitment in delivering employment services for young adults.
The reception last night honoured finalists in nine categories across the employment sector, with other award winners including: Richmond Fellowship Employment Services; Papworth Trust; Volition; Poundbakery; Baxter Life Care; Belinda Hunt from RBLI; Julie Eastwood from Kennedy Scott; Alta Sheridan and Alan Hyden; and Mick May from Blue Sky.
