Resurgo Ventures Welcomes Second Social Impact Accelerator Cohort

Resurgo Ventures opened its new Liverpool Street office doors this week to six social impact businesses, who will take part in our twelve-week accelerator programme offering bespoke training to build their ventures.

The successful social enterprises were selected following a scrupulous  process, which tested the viability of their business models, the potential scale of their impact, and the strengths of their founding teams.

The cohort includes:

RAAW Talk: provides workshops, talks, and events to inspire and empower young individuals to attain a more resilient mindset.

N.ableD: exists to empower older adults and their families to maintain independence at home, by improving their physical and mental health using the power of exercise and nutrition,

Bankuet: provides digital services to foodbanks, allowing them to source what they need and have it delivered precisely when they need it.

Tough Cookie: helps organisations improve mental resilience in the workplace by teaching employees ‘Mixed Mental Arts’

Recognised jewellery combines design, quality and philanthropy through their statement Popons®, the profit from which go to designated partner charities.

Arts Revolution: partners with schools to provide after-school classes, exciting in-school experiences, orchestras, choirs and drama.

Gordon Eichhorst, Head of Resurgo Ventures, said “We are delighted to be able to build on the success of our inaugural Accelerator programme in 2018, and offer an even further improved programme to this cohort. Resurgo Ventures is privileged to work with such passionate social entrepreneurs and we look forward to supporting and challenging them over the next twelve weeks.”
