Reporting into the Chief Executive, the Media & Communications’ Manager is responsible for the overall smooth running of the Media & Communications’ team to ensure that Resurgo’s external communications are on brand and on message, and delivering the broad range of communications’ needs of the organisation. This includes working closely with the Chief Executive to provide strategic oversight of our brand and communications, managing two direct reports, oversight of digital strategy and our social media presence as well as all film and printed material, and media liaison.
We are looking for a talented and ambitious individual who is passionate about social impact and churches and business working together to provide maternity cover for our Head of Communications. Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive
£30,000 – £32,000.
The Executive Assistant will excel in providing comprehensive and confidential support to the Chief Executive to further Resurgo’s mission to catalyse highly effective social transformation as an expression of the Christian life and faith.
With high attention to detail and excellent administrative skills, they will strive for the greatest efficiency and be proactive in achieving productive processes and streamlined practices.
The Executive Assistant will support the Chief Executive in his role to develop and manage key relationships including funders, church partners, business leaders, and politicians. This involves managing his diary and emails, communicating both externally and with internal Department Heads to arrange meetings (including all travel and accommodation requirements) and preparing reports and presentations accordingly. The Executive Assistant will be highly organised and responsible, publishing management reports on behalf of the Chief Executive and co-ordinating and attending Trustees’ meetings, and administrating a number of Resurgo’s Steering Groups.
Support will also be provided to the Chief Executive in policy, social and academic research, and in his wider roles strengthening Cultural Impact and Community Regeneration through church and community networks.
As an integral member of Resurgo, the Executive Assistant has a key role in strengthening our culture – an expression of the Christian faith – and line-managing the Assistant to the Chief Executive.

Philanthropy Executive (Individual Giving)
£24,000 – £27,000.
Are you a highly organised and self motivated individual with strong administrative skills and an eye for detail, looking to gain experience in fundraising in the charity sector?
Reporting into the Head of Philanthropy, the Philanthropy Executive (Individual Giving) is responsible for coordinating individual giving and providing general support to the Philanthropy team. This role is a great opportunity to learn and build a broad knowledge of fundraising.
Your role will include coordinating the programme for regular givers, ensuring individuals receive regular communication on the work and funding needs of Resurgo, working with the Head of Philanthropy on initiatives to increase the number of regular givers, managing procedures and processes, and managing and updating the internal database.
You will also coordinate sponsored events and manage the Big Give appeal, working with members of the Philanthropy team to manage the logistics for donor events, and provide general support to members of the Philanthropy and Major Donor teams.

Philanthropy Executive (Trusts and Foundations)
Part-time, 2.5 days per week.
£25,000 – £28,000 pro rata.

Reporting into the Trusts & Foundations Manager, the Philanthropy Executive (Trusts & Foundations) is responsible for managing relationships with a caseload of Trusts and Foundations and writing funding proposals, as well as providing support to the wider Philanthropy team. This is a great opportunity for someone with an interest in social impact to be a part of a growing charity and broaden their fundraising experience.
Your role will include managing relationships with a caseload of Trusts and Foundations (current donors and prospects), writing funding proposals and reports for donors, carrying out research to identify new trust and major donor funding prospects, and providing support with proposals, reports and events to the wider Philanthropy team.

Spear Graduate Coach September 2019 – Training Programme
12 month, fixed-term contract
Are you a confident individual with an interest in coaching and a passion to work as part of the local church to see young people reach their potential?
Together with our partner churches across London and in Brighton, we are now recruiting for the Spear Graduate Coach Training Programme, starting in late summer 2019 –a paid, dynamic, one year opportunity to develop coaching and leadership skills whilst bringing about social transformation in the local community.
Through excellent delivery of the Spear Programme in partnership with local churches, you will equip and empower unemployed 16 –24 year olds to overcome disadvantage and turn their lives around by moving into sustainable work or further education.
Becoming an active member of the relevant partner church, your role also involves providing support (including administrative support) to the Lead Coach and Centre Manager in the delivery of Spear as a powerful expression of the Christian life and faith.
