Resurgo’s initiatives are Spear, an programme helping young people, Resurgo Ventures, supporting emerging social entrepreneurs to make a positive impact on society and Resurgo Consulting, providing coaching services to organisations to increase trust and improve outcomes.
Through our award-winning Spear programme, we work with unemployed young people, supporting them to get into work or education. 89% have at least one indicator of disadvantage, and over 75% of programme completers are still in work a year later.
Corporate Partnerships Executive

Strong, dynamic, mutually-beneficial partnerships are key to engaging corporates in the work of Resurgo. The Corporate Partnerships team at Resurgo has a strong track record of building effective, long-term relationships with businesses and organisations that provide valuable funding, job opportunities for Spear graduates, align with the strategic business aims of the corporate partner and provide opportunities to engage and utilise their professional skills to help meet the needs of local young people.
This role is a great opportunity to join Resurgo in an exciting time of growth, with opportunities to support the organisation in engaging more corporate partners and to enable Spear to help many more young people from disadvantaged backgrounds enter sustainable employment.
You will assist with managing existing corporate relationships and identify and research opportunities to build new ones, as well as support the Corporate Partnerships team in a variety of areas including volunteer engagement, corporate events, recruitment for job opportunities, funding applications and the opportunity to train and grow in business development and account management skills.

Spear Bethnal Green – Graduate Coach Training Programme (starting January 2019)
Are you a confident individual with an interest in coaching and a passion to work as part of the local church to see young people reach their potential?
Together with St Peter’s Church in Bethnal Green, we are now recruiting for the Spear Graduate Coach Training Programme – a paid, dynamic, one year opportunity to develop coaching and leadership skills, and at the same time see transformational social impact as part of the local church.
You will be part of a team leading the award-winning Spear course to equip and empower unemployed 16 – 24 year olds in the Tower Hamlets area to overcome disadvantage and move into sustainable work or further education. While being part of the vibrant staff teams of St Peter’s Bethnal Green and being immersed in their mission and community, you will also receive intensive training delivered by Resurgo’s professional Coaches and build coaching skills through working on the front line with vulnerable young people.

Media and Communications Manager (Maternity Cover)
Are you a confident and highly organised individual with strong leadership abilities and experience in managing Media and Communications in the charity sector?
Reporting into the Chief Executive, the Media & Communications’ Manager is responsible for the overall smooth running of the Media & Communications’ team to ensure that Resurgo’s external communications are on brand and on message, and delivering the broad range of communications’ needs of the organisation. This includes working closely with the Chief Executive to provide strategic oversight of our brand and communications, managing two direct reports, oversight of digital strategy and our social media presence as well as all film and printed material, and media liaison.
We are looking for a talented and ambitious individual who is passionate about social impact and churches and business working together to provide maternity cover for our Head of Communications. This 10 month post with the potential to extend is a great opportunity to join Resurgo at an exciting time of growth.
