Resurgo’s initiatives are Spear, an  programme helping young people, Resurgo Ventures, supporting emerging social entrepreneurs to make a positive impact on society and Resurgo Consulting, providing coaching services to organisations to increase trust and improve outcomes.

Through our award-winning Spear programme, we work with unemployed young people, supporting them to get into work or education. 89% have at least one indicator of disadvantage, and over 75% of program completers are still in work a year later.

 

Spear – Graduate Coach Training Programme (in all Spear Centres, starting August 2018)

Are you a confident individual with an interest in coaching and a passion to work as part of the local church to see young people reach their potential?

Together with our partner churches across London and in Brighton, we are now recruiting for the Spear Graduate Coach Training Programme, starting in late summer 2018 – a paid, dynamic, one year opportunity to develop coaching and leadership skills, and have at the same time an impact on communities in partnership with the local church, of which you will be required to become an active member.

Join our experienced and passionate team of Coaches who work together to equip and empower unemployed 16 – 24 year olds to overcome disadvantage and move into sustainable work or further education.

While being part of vibrant staff teams at our partner churches, you will receive intensive training delivered by Resurgo’s professional Coaches and build coaching skills through working on the front line with vulnerable young people. Many of our Graduate Coaches progress into more senior roles in our charity.

Spear Lead Coach

£25,500 (Full Time)

We have 8 Spear centres based in churches across London, as well as a new centre opening in Brighton in September. We are now looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Spear team as Lead Coach based in a number of these centres.

This exciting role as a Lead Coach will involve delivering training in life and career skills, and overseeing and taking responsibility for the recruitment of students to the programme. The successful applicant will be provided with professional training in leadership, personal development and coaching.

We are looking for someone with great people skills, a highly developed emotional intelligence and an enthusiastic and proactive temperament. Previous experience in training is preferred and a confidence in leading and motivating groups is essential. Ideally, applicants would have been in work for a minimum of 2 years.

The programme is run in partnership with local churches and the role may require that the successful applicant attends the partner Church.

Editorial & Communications Executive

£25,000 – £28,000 (Full-time)

Are you a creative, efficient and organised individual with impeccable attention to detail? Do you want to work in a fast-paced environment to make a difference at a growing charity with a focus on social impact?

This role is an exciting opportunity to join Resurgo in an exciting time of growth in a varied role involving writing, content creation, managing social media platforms, running online marketing campaigns, reporting on KPIs, as well as admin to ensure the smooth running of the department.

Reporting to the Head of Media & Communications you will work to support a team of three. This role would suit a graduate (or equivalent) with an interest in the third sector who is a fast learner. Training will be provided.

Social Impact Accelerator Manager

Are you a driven, confident and highly organised individual with an interest in social impact and a passion to build the next generation of purpose-driven businesses?

This role is an exciting opportunity to join Resurgo’s growing Ventures’ team as we bring together ambitious entrepreneurs and industry experts to help new businesses thrive.

As a confident communicator with excellent organisational capabilities and outstanding people skills, you will co-ordinate the day to day running of our 12 week Social Impact Accelerator programme. You will manage the application process, liaise with weekly presenters, assist in the development of programme content, co-facilitate sessions, and be the main point of contact for venture founders. You will also take the lead on planning and co- ordinating our Pitch Night programme to engage with stakeholders
